Many brides hear "coaching" and they think, "Oh, I don't need that. I'm sure some brides do, but I'm not 'crazy'." This is an unfortunate mentality brought on by the need of our society to cover up anything that isn't happy and pretty about this time. Most of my clients are stable, confident, functional and overall happy people. Once they get into coaching, they realize that it isn't about "fixing" anything or about them being a bridezilla. It's about taking this journey in a way that very few brides get to experience - a way that encompasses every little up and down of this time in a very conscious way. It's truly beautiful to see the deeper level that brides get to by taking advantage of what coaching has to offer.

It is helpful to have someone outside of your normal sphere of influence to discuss wedding planning, sudden issues and more importantly the switch from being a single girl to a married woman. I never gave much thought to such a transition until I ran into Liza at a bridal fair and realized that she was exactly what I needed. She is not only helping with this challenging transition but also helping me become a more supportive fiance. Her support and kindness lets me know that I'm not the only one who is in this sudden and overlooked transition in life. Conversely, her difficult questions and clear perspective force me to look deeper into my relationship and life changes.

I really wish I had been more aware during my engagement and wedding planning process! I met Liza pretty far along into my planning through our mutual blog world. Working with her has been a real eye-opener, that's for sure. Her coaching is not about taming the Bridezilla or how to handle your future mother-in-law. It's about you. Figuring out what you want and how to go about it in a healthy way. I've been learning from Liza ever since we met. The advice she gave me worked because it was a logical approach to what can become a highly charged emotional time. Now, it's my responsibility to make sure that I follow good advice and to make wise choices. I have not always done that, even after meeting Liza (I'm a bit on the stubborn side)! But even after making poor decisions, I can gather myself and look at the situation with meaning and clarity. Coaching is not something I ever considered for myself, but I'm always open to bettering myself as a person. I believe that working with Liza has done that and will continue to do so after my wedding day.
