Dear Bride,
Congratulations! You have found the man with whom you want to spend the rest of your life and he feels the same - a truly beautiful miracle to be celebrated. Whether it has sunk in or not, you have begun one of the oldest journeys - the road to marriage.
Marriage is a rite of passage, a transition, involving an ending of an old way of life, a middle ground and a beginning of a new way of life. Without taking the time and care to fully transition between these phases, brides can become lost in anxiety, doubt and sadness resulting in a stressful and unconscious
wedding planning process and wedding event. Ultimately, the bride is unlikely to fully arrive at, accept and take joy in being a wife.
By partaking fully in your personal journey from singlehood to marriage and discovering what it all means for YOU, you give yourself a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have a truly meaningful and beautiful wedding day.
Through the process of my own wedding in Spring 2008, I came to realize just how important it is to take the time to focus on the transition - not solely the planning of the wedding day - but to truly go inside oneself and gently look around, acknowledge ALL the feelings no matter how “perfect” or “un-perfect” they are, let go of what needs letting go of and embrace what needs embracing.
For those brides who desire to be an active participant in their journey and not let the journey just “happen” unconsciously, I offer coaching.
Bridal coaching helps brides-to-be figure out where the transition is most influential for them, and guides them along the journey from single woman to wife, causing successful, purposeful weddings and mindfulness through the first months of marriage.
I invite you to partake in this journey, your
wedding; your life.
Sincerely,
Liza Hippler
